I thought I would share this story since in America you guys go nuts for Bruce ..

So this summer I have tried bruce a few times and have not had any luck not sure if he decided to shut it down here in UK or he is getting harder or what.

Anyway Last night was gonna be the last attempt in the UK as he was in Leeds so we decided to make the trip so a few of us brave enough in 2 cars took the high road and went.

From experience I know Bruce don't Soundcheck in UK and he always seems to be arriving between 5 and 6 pm at the venues.

We did not wanna take a chance so we left early enough to be there for 15:15 .

We had a look and figured how it was gonna go down , But since this arena was just been build and this was gonna be the first ever gig we made sure to get it right. And so we did.

At approx. 17.20 we saw the massive Convoy Bruce arrives first and as usual seated in the passenger seat next to driver and waving his hand and turning back and forward behind him was the 4 silver box vans and then 2 other town cars, The shutters go up and off he goes and disappears.

Damn 50% of the game was over and we had lost, But you cant give up you gotta ride it out and so we did. The hours were a drag we were watching the ticket guys making 500 to 1000 bucks a ticket outside while we were just hopping to maybe get an autograph some time that evening. At approx 23:05 the shutters go up and all the box vans come out and off they go, We know that bruce seems to depart after all the rest , we don't know why but that's how it is and that how it was the night before in Cardiff as some american's told us.

In Cardiff he came out 30 minutes after but tonight it was longer it was around 00:30 we had now put in 12 full hrs and boy were we burned out standing and thinking, Bruce watches about 20 or less people beg and cry with flags and boards from young children to old men and like the intro he once again waves away and off he goes.

We recognised the car and we knew it had come from Manchester so we decided to jump in the cars and follow him because he had 2 days off before Ireland so we thought even though he takes private planes maybe he decides to chill out somewhere like Manchester.

He drives around 2 miles then the car stops we think Jackpot he is gonna light it up like its 1999 , Then suddenly the driver spins round , What the hell , he is starting to go back towards the venue so all crazy scenarios start to go through your head.

Did he forget his phone , Is he going back for a police escort what is he doing, Well never seen this before he goes back stops besides the people puts his window down and starts to handshake the folks there wtf , This is some crazy sh%t never seen that before, But he would not take a pen people were there from spain, Usa , Argentina all screaming please please please , He kept saying sorry , sorry , sorry.

Weird !! Anyway and off he goes once again we once again follow him people are running behind the car asking him at traffic lights etc but he does not budge neither for a woman or any midget that's asks, I decide to stop the follow after out of nowhere some police car turns up with flashing lights, No autograph is worth prison time, Ps before some one thinks we were breaking the speed limit , Nope it was all 30 miles and hour not race just normal driving.

My friends continue the race , I had accepted failure as this game is a gamble same like playing roulette , My friends manage to stay with him all the way to the private terminal they asked his while they waited for the barrier to go up and he ignored them and when the barrier went up he once again used his hand to wave bye bye..

So this year he was super tough and left us with a crazy ass experience..
