Like his stuff, but do not know about the signatures so I am asking the board to help. He is a UACC and manuscript member but has sold a lot of Bogarts and signatures I want.
Frank Garo LOAs are often looked at like Morales LOAs. For the most part, the UACC only investigates Registered Dealers when a complaint has been filed against them by a UACC member. And then, as long as the dealer refunds the collector's money in case of a forgery, or settles the complaint to the UACC's satisfaction, that's it. The Manuscript Society does not monitor their dealers. They don't have a dealer program like the UACC has.
Checking our article on Bogart's autograph, I'm not comfortable with the one in this plaque. I'm not an expert, though.

thanks todd, and I also like the way you handled the Roy & Dale Rogers one. It's good not to divulge too much however on this thread with an ebayer you have pointed out a few things for me at least. He has authentic mixed in with non-authentic in at least 2 instances it appears.
that is prorbably the norm and the unfortunate part is many will not take the time to study something but rather execute the Trust w/o the verify. The price they will pay when they try to divest. What's more amazing is the usage of UACC and Manuscript Society as in I couldn't have any non-authenticate items.
You and Rez are good for the site. Now, like a hockey game when you hang up the skates and pads you go out for a beer or two, 'nuff said.
Regarding the Maltese Falcon ensemble that is the subject of this blog: This type of thing is not my specialty but I have handled a lot of Bogart and from the scans was not positive either way. I decided to show it to the very knowledgeable people at RR Auctions. They offered the following opinion; “These are mostly all bad (Bogart, Greenstreet, Bond, etc).” Granted this is an opinion only but one from a firm who has probably handled more of this material than anyone .
