I wonder if the seller hopes to get nearly $290, 500 for it, like this one did?

Exactly. What a great pair of items!
wow
Great investment piece...
I can say just WOW.... I´m very curious how high this is going to finish....
This has been quite a year for fully signed Beatles LPs sold at auction.
I wonder how many fully signed albums are still sitting in homes around the world. It would seem the more of these that came out would lower the value but with the Fab 4 the rules don't apply.
BTW, I would prefer the top signed album and find it a much more attractive piece overall. I don't see the second bringing the same money.
I wonder the same thing Chad, who knows what people out there truly have.
Personally, i imagine that there are probably more than one fully signed guitars by the beatles out there. I would truly be shocked if the beatles didnt sign a half dozen or so guitars in there careers, possibly more. I know that autograph collecting wasnt what it is today, but there are always people out there who think ahead or just want a cool item. Personally, if it were me and i had such a guitar, and had no plans of selling, i wouldnt tell the world or anyone for that matter. Thats the kind of thing who can bring in unwanted attention if you know what i mean....break in's, etc. Im sure there are many out there with signed albums who are thinking the same. There have to be other nice Pepper and White albums out there fully signed.
Some just have no idea. Its like the story Chris, or Terrior, or ballroom (sorry i cant remember whos story it was) talked about. Or maybe it was someone else, sorry i cant remember. But it was some guy who was good friends with babe ruth, and had him sign a ton of stuff, jerseys, balls, bats, everything. And the guy stored it in his attic i think. And then after his death (the guys, not babes), the stuff just dissappeared i believe. And no one knows where it went.
Im sure if we all knew what treasures were out there, we'd go into shock. In my case, the holy grail would be anything signed by the late Robert Johnson (blues guitar player). I know for a fact that one item does exist, a signed marriage document in the Johnson family's possession. But are there a few of his autographs out there somewhere. There have to be, crammed in some dark corner, and probably not recognized. Its crazy to think about.
I been this business over 35 years if there was a signed guitar it would be known by now.
I over only know one signed guitar by Jimi Hendrix and that was on on fan guitar.
The "Holy Grail" is the original signed contract for "The Beatles"" with Brian Epstein.
