Well St.Patrick's Day is on the way, so I thought let's see what your best Irish related autograph is. I just picked up a great one this past week, a signed LP from one of the greatest Irish rock legend that ever was, the unforgettable frontman of Thin Lizzy, Phil Lynott.
What's in your collection with an Irish theme?

Well - if the boys are back in town (dreadful pun .... sorry about that) how about a stunningly beautiful, impossibly talented young County Wicklow lass, Katie McGrath .... the evil 'Morgana' in the "Merlin" series ... as a nomination for "something Irish to fall in love with" :) From my collection of signed items from this terrific actress & model, here you go :

Lovely combination of brains, talent and beauty - and Irish all the way :)

Best wishes, David

Nice one's David!

Rock On! I love the DM!

Here's a couple more Irish themed legends that I have.

Our greatest guitar hero; Rory Gallagher!

Followed closely by another Irish guitar hero; Gary Moore

Here's the Phil Lynott (also signed by Darren Wharton - Lizzy's keyboard player)

And the artist who did a lot of the iconic Thin Lizzy album covers ( an the famous pop art picture of Che Guevara)

Sinead O'Connor ( with a nice personal insult 'Yer only a Geebag' - ask an Irish person!

And further insults or slagging as we call it, by Shane McGowan-

'For Mic, Hanging is too good for U' and translated from the Irish 'Up your ass, F**k You, You Louser'...Ha! A treasured item for sure!

Keep it Green!

I have a few nice Irish autographs since I collect music autographs. Some of my favorites are the Chieftains, Van Morrison and the Dubliners. But the two that I will share is Bob Geldof and U2.

U2

Bob Geldof

I never did manage to get an in person U2. The closest I ever got was to shake hands with Bono, when I was introduced to him in a nightclub, back in the early Nineties. Never got the opportunity since, but they are on my hit list of Irish autographs I'd love to get. And a Joshua Tree LP would be the dream signing, that or my Bpy LP!

Thanks for sharing
