Cutting up historic documents and selling them piece by piece isn't something they should support IMO.

That's very true. I guess I just feel like if people see words going for big bucks on RR auctions, it will be more of an incentive to cut stuff up. I have a Lafayette document that I know for certain would turn a profit if I cut it up word by word and piece mealing it to RR auctions.
I could be wrong, maybe I am making a big deal out of nothing. I just hate seeing documents cut up.
