Does anyone know what's going on with GFA? It seems like they are a great forensic resource to evaluate memorabilia but its so hard to find anyone or websites that use them.

Can someone let me know how I can find people or websites that use them? Appreciate it!

Also, what do you guys think?

Several threads on them in this forum.  The sentiment is decidedly negative.

the link doesn't load or work... can you try again?

Just type in GFA in a search, and you'll see that they're bad news.

It seems like they are a great forensic resource to evaluate memorabilia - is this a wind up thread as to phrase Mr. McEnroe - you cannot be serious!

Show me anything you can find that is authentic with their sticker. I have yet to see a single good piece.

That leads me to my original question.... where can I find GFA's items for sale? I only found out about them on atauction.com by accident.

AtAuction.com is where you will find items with GFA's COA's. No serious auction house or even Ebay will accept their COA's. You might also be able to find GFA's COA's on ioffer and craigslist.

If you are looking for authentic autographs, I would look somewhere else.

EBAY allows that crap to be sold. GFA not banned yet.
AtAuction is who coaxed that've crappy authenticator out of his bankrupt retirement. authenticates exclusively for them.
eBay has many of their forgeries listed

Chwa this is the second ridiculous thread I have seen, posted by you.  GFA is a garbage wannabe authenticator, slapping stickers and coas to anything with money behind it.

The last thread I saw that you posted was about Forensics examiners.  You basically where showed and told that most affordable FDE`s are a waste of time and money.   Why post this thread?

Hey guys,

I like learning as much as I can especially since GFA I have heard a lot about lately. A lot of the items on AtAuction look weird to me... It's a bunch of very similar framed pictures of the same people: "Joe DiMaggio, Mantle, and Ted Williams" how come there isn't any signed balls or anything of that nature? It's just signed pictures which is cool but why not more variety?

Erich, while on the subject, how is a company like Coach's Corner still in business? Almsot all of their items do NOT come with LOA's and if they do, they are from companies or people without websites. I dont understand how they are able to do business... who is using them?
