I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

I agree with Pete.  It appears to be the real deal Kevin.  Do you already own it?  It is a great shot.

So many of us love to collect posters signed by the cast of Star Wars, but being the international blockbuster that it was, with all the re-releases and special editions, which poster do you get signed?

I've always loved all of them, so I decided to do it a bit differently. I had a few 8x10 pieces with a handful of signatures here and there throughout my collection, so I just started adding to that pile. It's about as done as it can be now, so one big frame will hold these ....and it should fill up a space on the wall smaller than your average poster frame.

I may add one or two more 8x10's maybe the "Coming This Summer" teaser or the Howard Chaykin SDCC promo piece .....I just have to decide who I should get to sign them. I am leaning towards some of the fx guys from ILM, but I can also just call this group complete as well.

I personally like the original Ralph McQuarrie Star Wars movie poster.  Yours is very nice Pete.  Have you considered adding other autographs to it?

None of Ralph's works were ever used as a poster, the closest he came to having his work used as a poster was the triangle stickers they placed on the original scripts.

I do have this one already pretty jammed up.

His original triangle said "The Star Wars" in a different font,  like below ...

Now I am confused.  I thought that this was his artwork.

Style A was Tom Jung, B The Hildebrandt bros, C was Chantrell, D was White & Struzan and treh 10th Anniversary was Struzan.

Thanks Pete.  I confused Ralph McQuarrie with the Brothers Hildebrandt.  The original Star Wars movie poster that I posted above appears to be Tom Jung's artwork.

The Jung poster is my favorite. I would love to add a signed poster in the future. Perhaps I'll start with an 8x10 of this image and go from there. Great idea!

I forgot to post a picture of the Carrie Fisher that I bought from Official Pix. Here it is!

I also got two autographs for my birthday a few weeks ago, purchased from Skyline Signatures. I got George Lucas and Frank Oz. Here is the Lucas.

And here is the Oz. Glad to have an authentic one finally. Love my family, they are the best!

Very nice.  I purchased a George Lucas autograph from Skyline Signatures two years ago.  I do not recall seeing that one in their inventory.  It must have been added recently.
