I apologize, too soon....

I'm a Giants fan, and while I'm sure it doesn't make it any better, that was a damn good series and the Royal played like champs.  But the mad bum was just too much. Tip of the hat to the Royals and their fans....dodger fans could learn a thing or two

Hey, thanks a lot. The Giants are obviously deserving champs. Yes, that was a really good series. We just got BUMed out. Great pitcher. I think this series really turned in Game 4. We were positioned to take a commanding lead in the series when we were up 4-1. But we couldn't seal it, and the flood gates opened. We got as close to being champs as you can get without actually winning. Game 7. A one-run game, with the tying run just 90 feet away. There was no quit in either of these teams. They were both fighters to the end. And now we in KC can always ponder if the third base coach should have given Gordon the "go" sign. He probably would have been thrown out. But how dramatic would that have been in Game 7 of the World Series?
