hi all!

are PAAS autograph authenticators (http://www.paasautographs.com) an acceptable company to use to authenticate an autograph? if a seller had a "likely to be authentic" online examination e-mail attached to an autograph he/she were trying to sell, would that be considered a good thing?

i'm trying to educate myself and hope you guys can help! :)

I would confirm the email and the item examined , I am here from P.A.A.S. so you can show the email and the item and I am sure you well receive a second opinion here and I can confirm the email for you.
Thanks.
hi michael!

i am SO sorry for having taken so long to respond! :( i would like to continue this discussion privately, if that's okay, so i sent you a friend request. i'd also like to ask about a robin williams autograph i'm considering purchasing and one that i've already purchased. i don't want to bombard the board with all my robin williams autograph questions.

Hi Gen,

This forum is here for people to ask questions.  Please don't feel like you'll be bombarding the list if you ask about certain items :)  We're here to help.

Hi Mike
I have a question regarding PAAS I see you have an exclusive deal with wicked memorabilia in Australia http://wickedmemorabilia.com.au/store/index.php

Did you look at the items they sell before you did the deal?

As they have some real quality items on their site.

Love band signed guitars

http://wickedmemorabilia.com.au/store/index.php?id_category=15&...

This is one of my favorites photo proof for a champions 20 jersey signed on the back and sold by A1 but the one they sell is signed on the front and with Rooney on it who didn't signed the one signed on the back.

Thank you for this question, this is the main reason that I like to make myself available for questions on AML. I have done some autograph authentication for Wickedmemorabilia in Australia. I do not have an exclusive deal with this company.  I have never examined or authenticated any of the items that you have questioned. I have authenticated approximately 25 items for Wicked Memorabilia and I have never examined a guitar or any items from the Love Band. I have not authenticated any of the Rooney jersey's that are in question.
When P.A.A.S. Authenticates an autograph the item is issued a numbered archival hologram with a matching numbered Letter or Postcard of Authenticity. These numbers can always be confirmed on our database at www.paasaa.com.
Thank you again for your question and I will always be available to answer questions like this as well as confirm the any claims of authenticity by P.A.A.S.
So will you be contacting them and asking them to remove the statement that you have an exclusive deal with you. It's just strange that they offer your services on there website without having a deal.
I never said you authenticated the item I mentioned just that they sell a heap of fake stuff and it's not good business to make such a deal unless you check what they sell first.

Yes I will be handling the issue as soon as I return from an authentication road trip. I have never authenticated any items signed by Wayne Rooney or any items by the band- Love.  I have gone to the site in question and I do not see any of these items??? Wicked Memorabilia is a well know framing and trophy company in Australia.  Their business is not primarily selling autographs. The items that I have looked at on there site are mostly cert ed by JSA and PSA/DNA.

The mention of P.A.A.S. Autograph Authentication on their web site is for acceptance of items to be examined and authenticated by P.A.A.S.  I had given them permission to act as a drop off point in Australia for items to be submitted and shipped to P.A.A.S for examination.  This is to save our customers in Australia on the expense of International shipping by consolidating. If you see this company is selling non authentic goods , I would not allow this service to continue ,  if you know of or see items on their website that you are concerned about please contact me at specialagent711@aol.com.. I also have received word that Stephen Koschal of the fraud underworld website Autograph Planet, has already already began a campaign against Wicked Memorabilia. Koschal who for years has been one of AML biggest readers, he is obsessed with the Autograph Magazine website.   As soon as he sees something that he can use to attack someone that has exposed him or has information about him he post under one of his many names.

Thank you

I never said you authenticated the Rooney I said they are showing a shirt which is fake with photo proof from a signing for a shirt signed on the back. The love band signed guitars what I should have said so not to confuse anyone is " I love all the fake signed guitars these guys sell check them out on this link"

So they don't have an exclusive deal with you they are just your agent in Australia and I might be guessing here but are they your sole agent over here. If they are I might be a bit slow but doesn't that kind of mean exclusive.

You say if I see fakes on their site to email them to you but you should be looking as this is called doing your due diligence which you should do if you are giving someone else the right to use your company name.
I will say this very slowly for you there is not a guitar signed by a band called love it was a statement "love band signed guitars' he is the it used in other ways "love to eat pizza" "love to collect autographs". Most of the guitars are FAKE that he is selling they are the same s*** that the company he mentioned sell why not have a look.

The Manchester United shirt that he is talking about is this one from A1 notice it is signed on the back of the jersey which was specially made with champions 20 written on it.and not signed by Wayne Rooney

http://www.a1sportingmemorabilia.co.uk/framed-manchester-united-cha...

Now the fake shirt he is selling which was signed on the front of the normal home jersey with Wayne Rooney on it and more they 15 signatures.
http://wickedmemorabilia.com.au/store/index.php?id_product=183&...

But have you noticed he has removed the photo of the jersey all of a sudden and just left the photo proof. Why what was wrong with the photo of the jersey.

I find it very hard to believe that you don't understand any of this stuff

I do not uderstand because I  do not know all the facts. I am talking to 3 well known Australia Dealers and I do not know who you really are?  I do not see the jersey nor the jersey you claim that was removed but I will be looking into this today.

Thank you for all your help.

You don't see the jersey as it was removed after you spoke to him. So you didn't look at the link when I first put it up well again you didn't do your due diligence did you.

It doesn't matter who I am if I am telling the truth does it? the guy is selling fakes and you know it now and are still letting him to use your company name.
