Lou Reed Autograph Story

I came across this link and thought some of you would want to read (or Reed) it.

This is the clearest Lou Reed autograph I remember ever seeing. The lady wears the shirt, washes it and enjoys it.

I met and interviewed Lou many years ago and he signed some Anton Corbjin photos for me. He signed two with a full Lou Reed signature and they are the best I have!

Care to post one of the nice sigs you have of him? The one in my collection is very abbreviated and quick.

I'm all for enjoying autographs on the wall, even if they fade a little, but wearing and washing them would be too much even for me. Hopefully she doesn't really do that.

Chad B - Lou was very quiet and not very talkative for the interview, until he saw my Anton Corbjin photos. He then became very talkative, signed the photos and did a great interview. Anton had an exhibition not far from the hotel we did the interview and he wanted to go to the exhibition. So, I took him there and he loved it! I will dig out the signed photos in my collection and post one here as an example.
