So I'm having difficulty finding unsigned 11x14 photos of various people. Before trying to buy autographed photos I figured I'd try to mail a few out to see if I could get them signed and returned (I've heard some people having luck with getting celebrities to sign and mail them back).

I've looked on Ebay and most of the 11x14 size are already signed not a big selection on unsigned photos. Anyone have any advice on where to buy unsigned photos of celebrities.

Thanks.

Take a look at Walmart's site too.  They seemed to do a pretty good job.

Walmart will allow to print celebrity photos? No problem with copyright issues?

Have you looked into photo file? Otherwise if you are taking photos which someone who has posted on here is teetering on copyright infringement! Just like posting people's accounts on eBay as selling fakes, yet their credentials are, what? They are setting themselves up for being sued if its their business being deemed fake based off their "opinion" yet have no facts to disprove something as fake! You can't just go and copy a photo that was taken by a company that uses it for sports, movies, etc! I mean you can but their is a law against doing so! I know photo file was mostly sports but they could be into other things now! Back in the day..25 years ago or so you could order any size and I know 8x10 six packs were like $15 I wanna say!

By googling a name, taking the photo and copying it...your crossing into a huge possible problem. I assume your using them just to collect for your own collection but just a warning...you will be asking for possible trouble!

The suggestion to go to google and do it that way is just being cheap, IMO! If someone were to google your name and take your pictures and sell them or send you pictures that you are suppose to be making money off of, wouldn't you be wondering how you got said picture w/o the necessary approval? It's the same with MLBPA...each player gets money for their likeness being sold ie jerseys, cards, photos, etc!

Depending on exact preference of what you will or will not consider worthy for your collection...I've got thousands of unsigned magazines/photos going back to the 50's to present times...I had an amazing picture of the Moon that was framed and was 4'x8'! It was an amazing piece and I wish I had saved it but I moved and it it had to go.

My suggestion is to not copy or if you are going to...find the object you want and go to one of the photoshop stores(can't think of the name)...it won't cost you $10.99! But as someone else stated..Walgreens/Walmart..should be monitoring that as they to can be sued for copyright infringement!

Photo file is your best option for sports!

good luck & hope you get what you want!!

yo so check it costco is $2 for a 11x14. Here is the problem when i do this google stuff. 1600x1200 , 1920x1080 none of these are true 11x14 and if i crop them well its cutting off part of the picture. Anyone know what  the ** x ** is for an 11x14 photo?

x = by.  11 by 14 inches.

Photos can be reformatted by adding borders to create the correct proportions, something I have to do for Instagram all the time.  You can use pixlr.com to adjust the canvas.

A size 1920x1080 image would be around 2 megapixels (or 1,5 when cropped to 11:14 ratio) meaning the end result when printed at 11x14 will look substandard.

I would recommend always going with the largest image size (in pixels) possible, 8-12 Mpix (so 3000x3800 for example) at the very least for 11x14s. Sometimes you might have to crop the image or alternatively add borders to it, to get the the desired ratio.

So here is my dilemma, this photo is 2560x1600 if I crop it to 11x14 it cuts off her ass. I want this photo in 11x14 where I can see both her face and her ass PIcture

You have to add white bars to get the ratio correct.

Yes, if the ratio must be 11:14 then there is no other choice. Or if it's not an absolute requirement, then one could just keep the shorter side at 11 and let the longer one be whatever it needs to be to avoid cropping (and the photo will be huge in any case and perhaps not that practical to get signed TTM).

The developers won't care, they can print the photo at any size or ratio (below the maximum).

Sorry but that looks horrible! I assume these are going straight to eBay & are the people seen in TMZ at airports, etc?

If you would have read his original post, you would have known he's trying to get some signed through the mail.

Doesn't mean it won't be sold Richard
