OK, so for those who want to know how to spot a real Roger Waters from a fame one continue reading and observe. For those who don't want to except it, I'm sorry, I can't please everyone.
Real Roger's, and I focused on some from the last tour, have a certain flair to them. An essence that only he can do. There is this subtle jittery aspect to the "oger" in Roger that is unmistakeable for those who have actually got this guy in person. There is noticeable relationship in the formation that only he, Roger Waters, the signer, can do. These things forgers can't master and guys like me and several others on this site can spot them a mile away. It's difficult to put into words what to look for but the first place I'd look is the "og" and make sure they are kinks awkward looking, not too perfect, or the same size. The rest si subtle and I invite you check out the image.
I understand a well known authenticator has deemed the WYWH CD jacket in my fake column as real. I'm sorry but he is wrong. I don't think XXX has engulfed himself as deep as I have in Pink Floyd and I invite him to take a look at my graphic I compiled to see the differences.
Sometimes what makes me personally good at spotting fakes and knowing who signs, what they sign, where they signed and roughly how many they signed and sometimes who they signed for. The autograph community is small enough that if I don't know the guys in the next city one of my friends does. We tend to know who is honest and who isn't. This helps me not only see the stuff I get signed, as well as the other stuff signed around me and then also I, or we, or someone gets texts with images from other cities or info on the signing habits. And being in the trenches is the only real way to become an expert at authenticating autographs in my field (mostly music). I have been at this since the early 90's and it's a nasty greedy business and I love to help people in need.
Most of the fake Waters are passed by PSA and JSA, suprise suprise. Most come from the sellers that offer real ones as well. This is a classic case of a group of autograph hounds getting as many as they can get then just forging what they didn't get signed. This is terribly common with east coast guys, mid west, San Fran and LA. Basically the bog time markets.

You said in another thread that "it's not that he never signs a neat "OG"." So he does sign neat ones let's say its 80%-20% or even less, why shouldn't there be genuine ones in the right section and vice versa? For example the middle genuine one on the 3rd row, doesn't look like an awkward "OG" to me. You make the pre-assumption that's the difference between fakes and good ones but is this assumption correct? I don't know.
Basically, the "OG"-thing that you in the end cannot describe in words is the only real tell you are defining what would be a forgery and what's genuine. For my work, I see lots of autographs, sometimes you can't even see that 2 sigs are from the same person when in fact they are.
Are your autographs always the same? Yes there are always the same characteristics. But there can be differences which pen is used, rushed or not, state of the artist etc...
Roger Epperson (I don't know why you don't mention his name) said the WYWH LP had absolutely nothing to do with the fake ones JSA passed and it looks just the same like the ones he gotten in person on the last tours. Of course he knows about all the fake ones. I see no reason not to believe him (even though he probably made mistakes in the past like everyone, but very likely far less than all the others here).
You have been wrong a few times here already, like every normal human being. That's why I hardly ever comment and say something is clearly false or good because I would be wrong 70% of the time and that wouldn't help the members here lol. It's easy to question everything and to anonimously "attack" experts in their fields for many years. In the end, you can also start questioning the light of the sun.
It's the same on the Harrisson Ford thread: you laughed with someone who has been studying Ford for 30 years. For me personally, that style doesn't help the credibility. Now with the George Harrisson card, you basically say top experts highely likely authenticated tons of fake Beatles. You must be an expert on many fields then. You clearly have issues with tracks, Epperson, Caiazzo, PSA...
But ok, no problem, in the end everyone has their opinion so I respect that.
I am not arguing with you about this. If think it's real, enjoy it.
