I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Very nice Steve.

Got both of these yesterday and Saturday.  The 12 inch doll has great eye appeal/display appeal.  Wouldn't trade either for the world!  Plus the inscription on the doll is priceless!

Wonderful! What are the inscriptions?

Sorry.  The doll says, Carrie Fisher Princess & Mathematician.  The poster says, Love to the Chervinkos, see you tonight Carrie Fisher.  Does she usually make such  funny inscriptions?  Here's a photo her signing the cardboard packing for the doll.  The clam shell it came in is resealable.  I was able to pull the backing out and have her sign just that and then I put it back in without damaging a thing!  The clam shell acts as a built in protector.

Very nice Mike.  Congratulations.

I don't think Ive seen very many Carrie inscriptions. Have you Pete?

There are the shows where Carrie is the top billed attraction, in those instances the promoter or handler/celebrity wrangler will tell Carrie no personalizations, just sign and get as many people thru the line as possible.

At shows where she is not slammed and the lines/wait times are not 4 or 5 hours long for an autograph, Carrie will do whatever Carrie wants to do. If time permits and the customer wants an inscription like "To Bradford, Love Carrie Fisher" or "PLO" she does do that when asked.

Then there are the slightly off color comments that she has been know to do, talking about the size of one's lightsaber or "thanks for last night" etc.

Added a few more gems to the collection...

Impressive. Pete, how many Alec Guiness autographs have you seen multi signed?

There are quite a few multi signed Guinness pieces out there, but one collector in the last 10 years or so, vacuumed them up. When I last had contact with him, he had 200-300 solo shots and probably close to 100 combos. Many of them were once mine, or K9's.

He left the hobby after being caught forging, and no one knows what became of the mountains of real stuff he bought.

Both pieces are PSA'd and I personally think they are genuine, but I'm always open to discussion.. do you not like them?

I do like them.  I am just wondering if the Alec Guinness autographs were added before or after the other three autographs were signed.  They are curious photos to have him sign without intending to have the other autographs added.
