Everyone is after a piece of Cobain, here are a number of items that have sold on ebay recently all have been Kurt's own personal belongings.

The cassette sold for over 3k us and the vhs tapes around 2k guitar pick 1000.

The vhs tapes are suppose to be in Kurt's handwriting although the date is around the wrong way for an American. The cassette is suppose to have recordings of Cobain on it. The guitar pick is meant to be used at Mtv 93 concert.

How on earth are you suppose to authenticate these items?

Gary some from antiques roadshow America is suppose to be an expert which he owned this.
Later Dave for sure. I have 2 examples of kurt singing like this back in early 94 but it's hard to see with the photo.

okay, fair enough. I guess wait for other opinions. Like I said, I am not too sure on their stuff, but right away it didn't look right because of the modern Grohl. How likely is it that Kurt and Krist signed it early and they got Dave's 15 years later? I mean, I guess, but....less likely on something already pretty unlikely IMO.

I think your right James. Junk.

Forgery with a long ass letter filled with lies. and no one in the business calls it "meet and greets" but someone who is not in the business would sure think so.

Anyone notice that the letter is dated before Kurt's passing? But still refer to his untimely demise.
Hi Bjarne nice to here from you my friend. Well picked up Bjarne.
Did any of you mates have nirvana sign when you met them?
I only know about two other people that got something signed when nirvana was in Sweden 1992. So it's not a lot of genuine autographs out there.

I was just curious that all mate. Whats your opinion on Buying authentic nirvana, can you weed out the fakes from originals with due diligence.

I'm not perfect, because nirvana is so hard to authenticate. But I think I can spot most of the fakes. I know about a few people that have been study nirvana and Kurt autographs, but even they can be fooled.
It's a jungle out there.

So yeah, back in 1993 I was really into the grunge scene and I was lucky enough to see Nirvana at Roseland Ballroom On June 23, 1993. What a night it was. Man it was so hot so I decided to go get myself a drink and you wouldn't believe it, Nirvana walked right by me. I think they were heading to their van or something I am not sure. All I had was a pen and this piece of paper, they signed it right there for me.

I am offering it up now for $3K. Any takers?

Ya, see it took me 10 minutes total for this. Imagine what I could come up with in an hour. This is why you really can't buy Nirvana.

Nice work don't make a full time ocupation out of it.

LOL, thanks.
