Will Ferrell signed baseball card sells for $1995

While I love Will Ferrel's humor, particularly in "Anchorman" and "Taladega Nights", I probably wouldn't fork out almost $2000 for a signed baseball card of his, even if it was limited to 10. However, someone did.

Some of those insert cards end up going for a lot more than they're "really" worth.  That value has no where to go but down I would think.

I agree. I know some of the card collectors like the rare cards, but "man-made" rarities don't excite me as much. I guess there are 100 of these signed cards - 10 of him for 10 different teams. I guess I would be willing to pay a little more for one than the going rate for a regular Will Ferrell autograph - but only a little more. There's another one being offered for $2295 I believe. But I don't think those prices will hold up close to that in a year or two.
