I am SICK and tired of seeing Yasiel Puig forgeries "certified" by Global Authentics over and over. Every single time I search for Puig autographs on eBay, there are new Puig forgeries "certified" by Global Authentics (GA, Steve Sipe). It is a miracle that eBay allows this GA junk on their site, but as we all know eBay is a cesspool of forgeries.

As soon as Puig had his breakout season, *magically* any "signed" item imaginable was available on eBay by the boatload, accompanied by a "Global Authentics COA". Hats, balls, All-Star balls, dual signed balls, jerseys (any color), you name it, you can find it on eBay right now "certified" by Global Authentics

The sad part is the majority of these "autographs" are not even CLOSE to resembling authentic Yasiel Puig signatures. But as we know, most people focus on the "COA"/seller's feedback without even looking at the signature which is just downright backwards.

Here are 3 things ANYONE buying autographs on eBay needs to know:

1. 100% feedback from a seller means NOTHING except for the fact that they ship fast.
2. "COAs/Matching Holograms" are nothing but pieces of paper and stickers, and a common focus in the description by forgery sellers
3. If it seems too good to be true, IT IS.

Now, back to this Global Authentics JUNK. IMHO there is ZERO % chance the majority of this stuff is even being looked at by anyone halfway knowledgeable with autographs, and definitely no one who is familiar with Yasiel Puig's autograph. Many are childish forgeries, some slow/shaky forgeries that anyone with any knowledge on autographs would realize are poor forgery attempts.

Here is the sad part, if you see anything "signed" by Puig that comes with a "GA COA", I would be willing to bet it's a forgery. That is how bad it is IMHO. Puig is the focus of this discussion, but believe me, they are not the only "star" whose autograph market is flooded with GA forgeries. It is downright sickening, and I'm sure one day we will find out about this massive scam.

The "GA Puigs" are so awful that it's not even one forgery style that they could've "made a mistake on", (which I'm sure Steve Sipe would claim if he was still a member here). They will certify ANYTHING, you don't even have to get the spelling right! It is downright laughable.

Here are tons of laughable Yasiel Puig "autographs" certified by Global Authentics that are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being authentic signatures. Putrid fakes:

And if you want to see any more, just search "Yasiel Puig Autographs" on eBay, I'm sure they'll be plenty...

eBay seller okauthentics is one of the many eBay sellers who has unlimited supply of GA junk. At any time they will have Puig on any item imaginable, of course accompanied by a "Global Authentics COA" and of course it will be an awful forgery.

Here is a miserable forgery attempt they currently have listed on a black bat:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yasiel-Puig-Autographed-Full-Size-Rawlings-...

They didn't even spell the name right. Who is Yasiel Puiq? Oh, and they also have a maple one incase you prefer that color.

Here is a comparison, up top is an AUTHENTIC Yasiel Puig signed bat. On bottom is a no question GA Puig forgery:

Yasiel Puiq (pronounced puke) :)

eBay seller okauthentics currently has 27 Yasiel Puig "autographs" for sale. Twenty seven. Bats, helmets, balls, flats, jerseys, framed jerseys, away jerseys, home jerseys, you name it. Oh, and EVERY ONE is "certified" by Global Authentics...

Here's the real kicker... EVERY ONE is a miserable forgery. There is not ONE that is even close IMHO! Isn't it amazing how eBay seller okauthentics has unlimited access to Puig "autographs" from the state of Oklahoma? Considering Puig does not sign TTM, is signed exclusively with Panini, and typically avoids jerseys/bats while signing and really only signs for 4-5 minutes before a game if you're lucky? It's like it's magic...

Someone really thought they got an authentic Yasiel Puig signed jersey for $63 from eBay seller okauthentics ??? LOL. Here is the worst part, not only is it a fake autograph, but they are using counterfeit cheap jerseys from China... What a scam. Fake jersey, fake autograph, slapped with worthless GA sticker, and throw it on eBay...

An authentic jersey alone cost $125+. "If it seems too good to be true... IT IS."

Awful fake, just like the others. Don't even get me started on the 30+ Peyton Manning/Clayton Kershaw "autographs" they have listed at any given time on any item imaginable...

Ryan I have been following your posts for the most part of 6 months now and kudos to you for your efforts. Some of the information you have shared is very interesting and at the same time a bit confusing to me. Are you saying that Global is the only entity that you have issues with regards to Puig, Kershaw and Koufax graphs?

I ask this mainly because I have saved a few terabytes of data over the years and am learning more and more about all of his but am scratching my head on some of it. Listed below is a few images of items from MAYES-AUTHENTICS on ebay and also a few other various images of kershaw and koufax.

All I ask is that you examine each for all the tell tale signs of "kitchen forgeries" and then let the dust settle. The other question I have is when you post images of "authentic" items as you compare them to GA, PSA or JSA items how is it that you actually know for SURE if the image you are calling real is really real?

Since you have called out all three companies but specifically some more than others I am just curious as to why/how you did not see these I have posted below??? Must have slipped past you I guess. Didn't you say that PUIG does NOT sign under logos or on the sweet spot?
