I usually try to get my baseball sign in person, but with these two guys, obviously, it's not possible. Bought a Mantle and a Williams from a local dealer, then found out they had been authenticated by GAI. I have no idea how to tell if these are fakes or if by some miracle I got a couple of the legit ones (not holding my breath) Can anyone help me figure out if these are real or not? Thanks

without looking at them, I'd say they are fake. Chances are nill that you found the holy grail. Authentic Mantle & Williams with a GAI Certification.

About as much chance to be real as Pam Andersons Boobs. Hope that clears it up for you with-out a photo.

I'm kind of new at the whole forum discussion thing. How do I post a pic?
The photos you posted of a Mantle are fake.
Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but which elements of the signature look fake? I'm not trying to be smart, I'm trying to learn so I know what to look for. I mean, is it the shape of the M's, the way the "t" is crossed, etc? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks. J

Here is the picture of the Mantle in question:

This is a Florida Mantle forgery.  It is a common forgery and a lot of members here have made posts about these.  The M's and the last name looks like Mautle, which are telltale signs of this forgery type

Terrible forgery.  Every aspect of it is bad.
