I got your message PW, however, I think this is a sloppy (far from ideal or pretty) genuine piece. It's got one undeniable characteristic that proves it's authenticity as far as I'm concerned. I won't get into it, as a few of us in the queen collecting world think it best not to give away all the secrets that might help forgers, but it's fine. It's ugly, but it's fine. This was one of the "in the middle" styles. Freddie had a few styles that were solid and easily recognizable. And in the months between those styles, he had the "in the middle" phases, where those solid styles were in the process of changing to a new look. In this case, the Freddie had already evolved inti the early 80s look, while the Mercury was still changing from the late 70s into the new look he had in the early 80s. If that makes any sense. I must say Fran, I have been noticing your eye for Queen has improved. Nice job.
