I have an option to buy this autograph of Elvis Presley from the Vince Everett Collection. Tried to do some background checks but could not find much information on the original collection or collector. The autograph is supposed to be from Germany when Elvis was stationed there.
On the For Elvis CD Collectors forum the advice was mixed.

I hope to find some interesting responses on this forum.
I've not seen too many examples of his signature but to me, I am kind of mixed in opinion here. I can't decide for or against. If it were me, I would probably decide against as there are elements to it which concern me.
I'm not sure either. The signature is much larger than most (is that a 4x6 photo?), which generally produces some atypical characteristics. I'd ask Roger Epperson for his opinion on it.
Nein !!!!!
Steve nailed my concern about the size, too. The signature looks like, to me, at least what an Elvis signature should look like, but the size was something which I noticed.
To me, I wouldn't buy it based on the red flag being raised - it could be real, but I wouldn't take the chance.
Thanks for the quick replies guys! I appreciate it. Unfortunately you confirm the general opinion on this signature.
I'm not familiar with the Vince Everett Collection, but maybe someone else is. It's a very nice piece if it's real. Epperson will give you an online opinion for $15. Maybe wait until a few more people pipe in--hopefully someone who knows the collection--and if you don't mind spending a few bucks, send it to him. He's one of the top two authenticators of Elvis.
Who is Vince Everett? Isn't that his character's name in Jailhouse Rock or one of his early movies?
anything is possible but I see a few things that are flags with this signature.
The only thing I found on the Vince Everett Collection, besides a few listings of things for sale on sites that I wouldn't buy from, was that he used to be an Elvis imitator during the '60s. Nothing about a collection that I could find.
I'd suggest asking the seller to contact you if he gets it authenticated by Epperson, Rich Consola, PSA/DNA or JSA.
