I'm not that old but that's the first time I heard of that story.
Yea 5-6 is about right.what is record mecca charging?
I posted recordmecca Hendrix, double the price. 12.500 us.
5 k is a nice number for a morrison cheque.
Paul,we would all be lucky to find a Hendrix for 3k these days.Right now I think 3500.00 to 4000.00 is the norm for one.thats on a cut sheet(album page)
I can't see the Hendrix or Morrison becoming any less valuable. Rock memorabilia is going sky high and let's watch the Ringo auction to see just how phenomenal it really has become.

I agree.  Hendrix items just keep getting bigger and bigger.  I can't even imagine what some of my stuff will bring if and when I ever sell it.

I have seen signed contracts selling for between $40-65K.  That's just nuts.

There's 2 contracts that are in the current rr auction.
Maybe concreted the genre of psych rock would be a better term.
I'm bidding on one of them.
Best of luck Paul.
Thanks paul.I'm currently the high bidder, not that it's going to last.
One of the reasons why Hendrix was so popular in london, besides his talent was that the Beatles and the Rolling stones were endorsing Hendrix which may have lead to more autographs being around.
