There is enough there in the Harrison section of the autograph that I am confident enough to call it real, but the Ford section kind of falls apart, making it a less than desirable sample.

At under $275, I'd say it's a fair price, but not likely to increase in value at all.

Nicer pieces are available for a bit more money.

This one here is a beauty in my opinion.
Tell me what you think.
Seller is asking 290$ excl shipping.
Seller name is Mike Aring
He got it in person.

Mike has sold a lot of genuine autographs, but I have found Mike's word on the source of an autograph unreliable. Be careful.

This isn't something I would have in my collection. The name Mike Airing seems familiar but there is no way he got that signed in person, unless he was the person signing it.

Uh that's not in person,if anyone named Harrison signed that but his name wasn't ford..Dudes tried to sell that to me for a while and I keep turning it down and getting other pieces...

Looks like way over paid..... Should be around 150-200

It's actually a good deal for a Star Wars Harrison Ford, Robert. There are so many forgeries, many good, that it's hard to tell what one is really worth without pulling the prices of fakes offered for sale out of the mix.

Ok

Hold on, I purchased a Ford autograph that was supposedly signed at the same Cowboy and Alien Premier in 2011 however from a different seller, Gary Harvey.  Maybe this Ford comes from the same source as the one I have, and could tell us about the authenticity?

Ask him for a date.  If it was signed in August 2011 and it was in Germany then the stories do not match up.

I've also had a less than desirable experience with Aring with regard to a Pacino autograph, which I wound up having to keep despite wanting a return due to it failing PSA authentication (Pacino is a tough autograph to certify, but still, a customer shouldn't be ridiculed for wanting a refund if it doesn't pass authentication).  So I would be careful when dealing with him, as he does not like TPAs opinions if you decide to return

The premier in Berlin was on Aug 8, London was on August 11.  He was at both premiers.  Don't forget looking up dates and photos from premiers takes about 30 seconds nowadays.. anyone can say anything was signed anywhere and make it plausible with a few minutes of research.

Very true. I mentioned my situation because maybe they were obtained from the same source who is using the premier as the location of the items being signed. In that case, I wouldnt trust the Ford that Greg posted in this thread in my opinion

Ron is a collector/dealer who lives in Germany, the original photo posted looks typical of what Ford signs rushed in a crowd at a premier.  The second photo from Airing looks like junk, I've called him out on that particular piece on FB already.

Your case was a special case where the seller lied to you to sell you a fake he purchased from someone.

The autograph always tells the story more accurately than the seller :)
