We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

The new system has been in place for 2 months now and it's working well.

This video shows you how easy the new forum is to use.

You can follow the forum and be notified of new signings exclusively! And you can enter a musician's name in the forum's search box and find any discussions about them.

Be sure to click the Follow link at the bottom of the list of discussions.

Try it...I think you'll like it.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Here is the Rod Stewart 9x12. I think I'll put it on eBay soon.

Chad,

I'm interested in this.  Please contact me.  Thanks.

DHH, I sent you a message and friend request. Thanks

Real Gone Music has a new Mama's & The Papa's compilation set for sale, with 64 of them signed by Michelle Phillips( I think she's the last one alive..). But before you rush over there, know that they are doing the typical lottery thing- everyone who buys the set will get their name thrown in a hat and 64 will get the signed set, the rest will get the unsigned set and a discount coupon...

Here are some links that I have recently purchase from:

Thx for the links.
Is the Fleetwood site 100% trustable?
For instance that Life magazine.
Yes, they are. It's Mick Fleetwood's store, so I hope they are. I bought a signed CD and the shipping was quite fast.

I also bought a cd and received it about a week later. Its a good way of getting his signed book reasonable or that life mag for 50 dollars.

Rob Zombie preorder: including signed LPs, Cds, posters (a bit messed up), and lithographs. $30-100. Www.pledgemusic.com

With the unfortunate passing of Bowie this week, forgeries are sadly exploding. I noticed today that there is a book on his official site called David Bowie Is . . . Personal Portfolio: Black Edition. This limited edition (1,000) book includes a print of Bowie that is hand-signed. The cost is $1000. Expensive but a rare chance at a guaranteed Bowie. Any thoughts on this?http://store.davidbowie.com/

Newbury just added The Cult to their signed preorders.

They sold out right away likely to ebayers. I had 1 in my cart for a couple of hours but had Internet issues and when I just went in to buy, they were gone. If anyone got an extra they'd be willing to part with, please let me know.
