I really don't what to say. I am very upset. I saw him perform so close,  front and center, at Roseland in '96 on the 4-date (?) Ballroom Tour so close he literally spit in my face while singing. I was at his 50th birthday concert in NYC - he promised the next years would not be boring after blowing out the candles. He was right. A great loss. Inestimable. Count those who name him as an influence...I can't believe he is gone.

R.I.P. The Man Who Sold The World. :( :( :(
Last saw him performed in 1995 with Nine Inch Nails.

David Bowie was a bona fide rock star, a genius in his own way!
