Hi All

Would like your comments on this MJ signed album, it was supposedly signed at the Dorchester hotel London on the 18/10/2005 whilst MJ was over here organising the charity record for the victims of Hurricane Katrina

The signature posted here is actually upside down, and in my opinion, is a forgery.

I spotted this style of autograph first on ioffer, and the prices for them (when other MJ's were going for well over 1000) was give or take a couple hundred dollars (US).  These also made it onto the scene at Comic Con dealer booths where they were also selling cheap.  They've now graduated onto eBay where the prices have hiked to match authentic MJ's.  The prices also skyrocketed on ioffer.

Here is the one you posted (in the correct view to see the autograph upright)

And here are others signed by the same person.

Hi Wascher

Thanks for the help I thought I had rotated the photo but obviously not, the help I`m finding on this site is great

No problem, and welcome to the forum.

Great work again wascher...
Amount of forged Michael Jackson items there are around is astonishing.
Becoming more and more difficult to obtain him in genuine form

Very difficult to find legit ones Rob, that is unless you want to pay a mint, and that's not any fun :)

Hi All

Thanks for replying, I am finding this autograph collecting and authentiication comments quite fascinating, and would really like to learn more about it. I know some of you have said its fake but I would like to read your responses on how you came to this decision, I would like to learn more on this subject.

Thanks
