I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Very nice piece that must have been
I never saw it so I couldn't say. I do know that he should have waited a few years because it would have been worth a lot more today than what he was paid back then. Star wars will always be awesome and great therefore its memorabilia will always increase in value. Nite fellow film fanatics x

Depending on the condition, of course, an Elstree screen used, with documentation, which I am sure your grandad could have provided, would have likely been a major Auction house item. Like Christie's or Southeby's.

I hope he made a mint on it.

The last helmet that sold went for $120,000 in September of 2015.

A suit with helmet sold in 2011 for nearly $250,000

Pete , this George Lucas good ? It's the one on the right. A good full signature ?

Are you sure that it's the one on the right?

Hahahahhahaa

It's a Lucas signature yes, nowhere near a good or full one, and the poster has been sitting om ebay at that price now for about 3 or 4 years.

In my world a Lucas signature should really be one that you can put on your wall and see from across the room, and that goes for any signature......why bother even owning it, if you can't see or appreciate it from 3 feet away?

Drew's signed copies of that poster are worth all of about $75, you can't get me into the concept of that Lucas being worth over $400.

Ok guys update on the autographs! Pleased to announce that the henson oz and kurtz are real! They are slightly different in colour when held to the light and this is a single colour print on the inside of the card also you can see the change in pen on every cross over. Yay happy jess is back. I've taken a few pics so please have a look and tell me I'm not crazy lol

That's what you wanted to see, all that doubled ink would not happen in a print. Congrats Jess.

Thx Pete for kind help, just saw it now :)

Yes the price seems very high
Where can we find just the poster in best quality print for good price ?

Why is this site offering just the signed poster at value of $4000 ?!

Autographed Photograph from Harrison Ford with envelope

This piece seems to keep popping up on ebay, and I realized that we really haven't covered the known Preprint or Stamped TTM material that celebs sent out to their fans.

This is a selection of that wonderful wasted paper.

Hopefully once you see them, you won't be fooled again.

Every time I list something "rare" on ebay, it gets stolen and relisted as a pre-print on multiple accounts.  Pre-prints are the dumbest things in this hobby.
