Ok experts.. I very much appreciate being a part of this group.. all of you are giving me a much needed education in the 'art' of collecting.

If you have a moment.. would you offer your opinion on this Paul McCartney sig..

It appears to be signed on the outer plastic which covers albums.  Seller noted he had it signed in Feb 2015 in Beverly Hills.

2 questions.. 1: Is it legit   2: Since it's on 'plastic' should I be concerned?

Thanks / Jimi

I would be very leery of something like this.  a clear plastic cover makes it easy to trace an original signature.   I would steer clear of this.

Like so many recent Paul signatures, it falls into the "might be but don't really" care category. His signature can be really bad these days, at least it's not one of those one name only jobs.

I think it could be genuine and I guess the fact that it is on plastic might give you the opportunity of creating one of those 'instant' signed guitars but if I was going to buy a Pasul autograph I would wqant something a bit more conventional
