I am very familiar with Elvis Autographs and have come across this one which has stumped me as I have not seen this style in his signings before but I know he did have many different attributes to his work over the years.
Thanks Steve, that was my first thoughts but I like to get a second opinion especially when you see one that seems totally out of the ball park such as this.
I know there has been some conjecture over the years about his autograph styles but most seem very consistent - till I came across this one.
It appears to be a dedicated autograph and the word "from" appears above the autograph. Its formation is consistent with the way Elvis wrote the word "from".
I can't really make out the name that appears above all of it...it looks like it might be "Colleen" or "Colin". I think I see a capital letter C.
So if you can provide the entire effort that would certainly help.
I know that E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E says that an autograph should stand on it's own and should sell itself but I don't always believe that.
In the example you have provided here...if Elvis has painted himself in a corner...if he has run out of room at the bottom corner of the page...if it's "cramp city"...you can end up with a signing that looks like this. Hey...cramp city !!! I like it !!
