I noticed that the UACC has updated the information on its expelled dealers list:
http://uacc.org/advisory.php
Two things that stand out to me:
1) Garrett Chan. I know him personally. My friend used to have the job of creating his eBay listings. In my friend's defense, he knows absolutely nothing about autographs. That said, when he mentioned what he was doing for a job, I said "I'm pretty sure Garrett Chan is the shady guy who used to sell forgeries at the card show." I was asked to come over to the house to help them pack up (Garrett decided to close up shop a decade or so ago), and I was given a Hawaii card expo signed poster (which I've lost... I'm guessing it was no good anyway, but it was signed by Musial, and that seemed okay, so who knows) and a "Gillie Hayes" baseball bat. That one is funny, as it looks like someone was practicing engraving Willie Mays' signature onto the bat. I took it to the batting cage and used it as a bat. :D
2) Hollywood Memorabilia / Brian Slaven / Tina Reany. This one is interesting because Hollywood Memorabilia has had a lot of items that I thought were shady in the past, but I just passed on them. To see that he was actually kicked out of UACC is a whole different animal.
