David Bowie autographed album.Genuine?

This is a copy of David Bowies Space Oddity LP,early 70s repress which I picke dup in a flea market a year or so ago.Written in the back in faint red ink is what appears to be a sig "Bowie".For anyone familiar with his autograph what are your thoughts on this.?

This looks reasonable from the scan.

I would be suspicious. It doesn't resemble even his earlier styles.

That very much resembles his earlier style C. 1974. I honestly don't recall where I got this scan, but I saved it because it is typical Bowie from then:
