"The yearbook belongs to its original owner, a former George Washington High School student, who attended George Washington High School from 1961 through 1964. This student’s (the owner’s) picture is in the 1961 yearbook on the page with the pictures of the students in Home Room 317.
Every spring, students, who ordered yearbooks, were given the yearbooks and were permitted to carry the books with them throughout the day over the course of a couple of days. Students were allowed to ask other students to autograph their books before and after class, while changing classes and at lunchtime, as well as in other locations before the first bell of the day and after the last bell of the day. One autograph, in the front of this yearbook, is dated May 23, 1961, which verifies when students were passing the 1961 yearbooks around for signatures.
Jim Morrison was one of the students from whom the owner of the yearbook requested and received a signature that year."
What do you guys think? I notice no separations in his name and no inscription written next to his signature like the other students who signed.

Nice one. I've only seen two other signed yearbooks, both without an inscription.
I saw that one last year on Iconic Auctions almost ended at 6,000$!
What do you guys think is nicer, A check signed by him or a Yearbook?
That is a treasure for sure. Jack...
Yes, you are correct. I learned something new today. I always thought any genuine example had separations in the "JM" "ORRI" "SON" but now I know that is not always the case. Thanks for pointing that out.
Thanks for sharing. Yes, that is the signature I am more familiar with. He sort of has a freshman in high-school type handwriting. That book with the added inscription is a real treasure there indeed!
This inscribed/signed book that Jim gave to his college roommate was featured on Antiques Roadshow, and was given an appraisal value of $10,000.00 i believe. Jack...
