Calling all Ronald Reagan Autograph Experts!!!!!!
R.R Auction has a Ronald Reagan Autographed SP in its Vintage Hollywood Collection.
The inscription and signature on that photo, needs a bit of examination by members of our autograph community who collect Reagan.
I would be interested in hearing thoughts on its provenance and authenticity........

Ok Steve..
Anyone with a good pair of eyes, and copies of Bill Whites Study, Herman's Study and John's Video, will be able to see very clearly why the signature is questionable.
As far as making my case, you gotta be kidding.
The only one who has to prove its good is RR Auctions, but wait......
"Remember, RR Auction guarantee's everything it auctions forever"
So I guess that is that.
Bill...
And the "G" in the good luck does not come close to matching an authentic Reagan.
He did cross his "T" with a fish.
A fish like the ones in Bill,John's and Herman's Studies.
Not like the fish in the above Photo
And by thge way, Steve, that "minimum bid thingy..."? Well, if you believe that R&R will sell Lincoln documents for their $500 "minimum bid", and Washington letters for their $1,000 "minimum bid", I have a bridge to sell you. You DO know about reserves, but the average Joe out there doesn't.
My opinion, that "minimum bid" nonsense is nothing more than a come-on to get suckers to think that they actually COULD buy those documents at those ridiculously low levels. It's a shameless sales ploy that no ethical business should partake in. We never did, and never will.
And that Reagan photo still sucks.
Bill,
I agree, I'd be surprised if they sold a Lincoln doc at or near a $500 minimum bid. But I think that virtually all auction bidders are aware of reserves--even eBay uses them and they've been around as long as I know. And eBay has legitimate sellers starting items at 99-cents that in some cases sell for thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars. But I'm sure like other auction houses, they have lots of things with no reserve and low opening bids.
Who? What? Where?
