I think the ink portion of the autograph looks fine Jake but there's something about that paper...man it's rough..

Does it kind of look "artificially aged" to anybody else ??

Ah....I'm probably just dreaming...looks o.k. to me...

Its sixty years old thats why it got wrinkles...lol

Don, How much do you think a autograph in this condition is worth?

Well the direction this conversation appears to be headed in...probably not very much...

Jake,

Isn't it suspicious that the paper is wrinkled and aged and the autograph is perfect, like it was signed yesterday? In fact, signed on top of the wrinkles and cracks?

There you go Steve..."something about that paper"..."artificially aged"...

You explained it much better than I did...it is a concern for sure...

And the shape of that E reminds me of the old Ebay thief Christina Reading...

She has been discussed here before...

Have you got any history on this Jake ??

no, just that the piece of paper was once glued into a scrapbook.

Jake,

I agree with Don. The signature isn't right in any case in my opinion.

Roger Epperson  says authentic.

Well that's good enough for me...

The autograph looks way too smooth and perfect for that much damage to the paper it's on.

If you look at it carefully you will notice some fading on the ink,and maybe the paper was already wrinkle when he signed it.
