I have a question about this. I've never seen what the potential buyer see when it comes to shipping fees in the items description. Does ebay display the shipping costs in the item's description when viewing the item before purchase? In other words, does the potential buyer know the exact shipping cost before making a purchase decision?

Yes, both the shipping cost and the customs fees (which are also charged in advance by the GSP) are displayed. Usually the shipping costs for a CD to Europe are around $20-30, but sometimes they can show as $100+.

Unless you absolutely must have an item, buying from overseas throught the GSP makes no sense. Especially since delivery can take weeks.

Yes indeed!!
