+1 to me it looks slick and a bit strange re placement. Would he sign two halves like that? His name always seems to me one entity though not physically interlocked.

I purchased this a few years ago from Mark Hayward. The COA was incorrect as far as the date goes. I contacted Mark via the auction House who were kind enough to provide seller details. Mark then dispatched the corrected COA along with the reason and apologies. I have since spoke to him on different occasions and he is well known in the industry. I guess this was done very early in his career and the COA appears professional.

I haven't, But I was chatting with him 3 weeks ago in London. We were supposed to meet, But i couldn't make it. We still email.

I would seek many opinions as possible in a matter like this. No single COA makes anything authentic. A consensus (if possible or close...) is better if you need the paperwork. Buy I would be sure to include Ballroom in my ultimate equation. If this were Bowie or Gleason I could help you much more.

If he were to reject the signature, would it make any difference to you? If so, would you still be able to return the item? The signature looks way off to me, and based on what I’ve seen I would have to give the COA an F-.

Can you make a better scan please? This appears to be ripe with stop and starts and I can't tell if it is digital artifacts or...this ink appears rather new as well...what make you, John?

i have owned this for a couple of years. Bought from a reputable House in London. I am pretty sure its good, Just wanted some extra opinions. The COA is A+.
