I've been aware of that piece for a while. I first came upon it in a listing on one of the book services sites some time back when I was searching for a Brando myself. That's a dealer that I trust 110%.

Having said that, I personally don't really care for this particular exemplar. It's quite atypical...even considering Brando's erratic signing habits (or lack thereof). Also, the fact that the other parties involved did not sign is a bit of an issue, imho.

Thanks very much Eddy. I’m putting together a Godfather piece. If I bought the Brando piece I would have that page matted around the signature. I already have Puzo, Coppola, Robert Evans, Pacino, Caan and Duvall. I’m looking everywhere for Al Ruddy but can’t find his autograph.

Here's another one of these that sold recently. It's the same document and has the production rep's signature. It's closer to what Brando's signature usually looked like in the late 60's period. This one had a PSA letter:

Eric. Thumbs down? I’m not a fan of the picture but if it was authentic, I would matte just around the signature. Trying to complete a Godfather project.
I already have Puzo, Coppola, Robert Evans, Pacino, Caan and Duvall. I’m also looking for Al Ruddy also but can’t find his autograph anywhere.

Mg, I understand you are putting a Godfather together. But this photograph is of Brando as Stanley Kowalski in 1951's A Streetcar Named Desire - supremely desirable and, if genuinely signed, extremely valuable. The image itself is a red flag, let alone the ridiculous $299 price. This is why you must know all you can about your subject - the sigs and the values in the different formats and time periods. Observation is your ally, knowledge your defense. A like photo brought nearly $2K 8 years ago!
