hey guys i just got some mickey mantle autos today from a store idk if they real or not

hi all i am very new to collecting vintage autos theses are my first items i dk if they real or not i was told they were real but u never know with stores theses days i got them from a store in a mall anyways i ended up getting 2 autograph items 1 was a mickey mantle and ted williams duel signed pic and other is just mickey mantle if u guys can help me out and see if theses are fake or not would be great bc i would just return them asap thanks alot for the help all

Sorry, these are very common forgeries, sold mostly by Always at Auction these days, including through the military exchanges they still through.

i dont know older player autos to be honest and i got a good deal on them both i fig they have coas but figs its froma company that does fakes he told me they real and everything also and he doesnt do refunds just store credit which is bs idk what i should do about this tomorrow went i go see him

Evidently, if you paid $280.00 for that garbage, you didn't "get a good deal on them." Was it a "impulse purchase?"

The reason I ask is because one of the main reasons why sellers of this garbage stay in business is because people like you buy that crap. Half of the problem with forgeries in the hobby are the buyers.

yea pretty much i thought they real and he told me they are and i never own a mickey mantle to be honest and yea i fig something was fishy after i got home and did research about the coa company and i am going to try to get my money back to be honest and i might report him to the police or something if he doesnt

Joe,

Please don't tell him you'll report him to the police if he doesn't give you a refund. I know you don't mean it, but that could be illegal. I would either file a police report if he refuses to give you a refund, or file one first, and then ask for a refund. But don't say, "Give me a refund or I'm going to the police."

But no matter what you do...take action! And be sure to report him to the mall so they know what their tenant is like.

yes it was in emerald mall and place was on the third floor and i paided like 280.00 for both today

well he did and i have pepole saw me buy it from them and it was a mom and son that did the business and he give me a sales slip also on it and i did called and he didnt answer his phone at all i left a message anyways i am going there tomorrow if i need a cop i call him but i am going to be nice as possible with him at first
