Beatles Band-Signed Extended Play (EP) Record Census—Now in Progress!

We've taken two censuses of band-signed Beatles albums, but we haven't done one for Beatles-signed EPs yet.

Band-signed Beatles albums are rare. Only about 15-16 US release Beatles-signed albums are known, and only about 113-120 UK releases. 75 or so of those are "Please Please Me," the Beatles first album.

No doubt there are more that haven't reached the autograph market yet, but these numbers are a good indication of their rarity.

Beatles band-signed Extended Play records (EPs) are much, much rarer. Only 10 or less may be known.

Let's account for them title buy title, with sales histories and images that can be found.

Let the census begin!

Thanks, Nick. Here it is. It's a "She Loves You" French Odeon release:

Here's one that was offered by Tracks about 5 years ago, The Beatles' Hits!

Jason Cornthwaite from Tracks said that besides the ones listed, he knows of these EPs:

2 UK Release "Twist and Shout"

1 UK "Beatles Hits"

1 UK "All My Loving"

2 Swedish "Twist and Shout"

The Beatles Hits EP pictured above is the one mentioned by Jason from Tracks. So that count is at 1 right now for the Beatles Hits.

So our Beatles EP census is up to 12!

Hopefully we can get pics for the ones Jason added.

theres a twist and shout on ebay now saying tracks was gonna buy it is this one of the ones jason says about?

Post a link please.

Thanks

no probs i only see it as was looking at the please please me

Auction is cancelled. All sigs written by a plotter!

Did you save images, Alexander?

It was suspicious to say the least. The signatures looked pretty good to me as far as I could tell from the blurry photos. But the suspicious story, the blurry photos, and the unreserved auction, were certainly signs.

I've been shown plotter signs like cross-strokes on Ts and Hs going right to left, lifting at the end of lines, etc. What did you see?
