I am working on my dad's baseball collection and he has some amazing cards many of which are not graded. I am curious if anyone can tell if this autograph of Mickey Mantle is authentic.

I took it to a local card shop and they think it is legit but I could use some additional opinions before I consider selling on Ebay.

I was told the card is 100% authentic Topps 1966

Authentic Mantle autographs on his Topps cards go for big money.

I saw a Signed '66 on eBay the other day. Almost a $1000.00

Slabbed?

Yes!!

Thanks, John.

Dennis,

It's not easy to tell from this photo since it's a bit degraded, and there's no image of the reverse, but the card looks like it would grade about 4 on the card grading 1-10 scale. Maybe a little higher, but there looks to be an edge bump in the lower left corner, which keeps me from thinking it will go 5.

Get feedback from members and then figure out what to do.

Wow, the one John posted has powerful eye appeal, great centering and beautiful color retention etc!

I am no expert but I think a 4-6 is where this would grade.

Thanks everyone for all the help. I really appreciate it.

If anyone wants to see something special I listed this Hank Aaron uncirculated for sale on Ebay just a few days ago. It's one of those never seen for sale online cards.

No idea what the value is as we could not find it in the book.
