Noticed a few of these fully signed Floyd albums to hit the market via dealers/eBay....both of which share same characteristics for David, Nick, and Rick - all three are not authentic. These albums have came out of the UK.

The first item below, the Waters is definitely authentic and one the second album, I would lean more toward not likely authentic for Roger (or if authentic - VERY atypical). However, I am very confident that these are coming from the same source and I am very confident that the other three are NOT authentic. FYI to avoid.

He's probably not there because he got into it with their authentication team when they didn't pass his MJs.  There was a discussion here on it.

Seamus, Goodcat...everyone:

What if we identified members who have sold numerous items and shown themselves to be reliable sellers? We can do it in a way that makes it clear that members do not sell, or not sell often, don't look like lesser members—because they definitely aren't.

I suppose there are 3 categegories of sellers:

100% legit (obvious keepers)

50/50 or portions there of (investigation required on what to do)

And 100% Fakes (BAN)

Seems simple but I know it's not as black n white as this and puts you in a tough position Steve. Whatever you decide is fine by me.

after number one on your list  I have a problem .everyone should do dilengence  before listing something for sale on here.i think this would be the last place to try to sell a fake

I know the tpa is a 50/50 crap shoot but unless u got it your self and can provide deatails  otherwise it should have a legit coa or ask for authentication on here before posting for sale

I never have a problem with anyone questing my stuff all I can do is supply the necasary info on how and were to them.

my rant over

also when possible to save time they should put a price .99 percent of the stuff I sell have prices on it .

I pefer to make it as upfront as possible when dealing.

I think you may have misinterpreted my meaning yes.

Not sure how to make my point clear.

But I agree that a list of dependable sellers is a good idea.

I have several members I trust and you and john are on that list.

Authenticated by whom? A TPA? Just curious. By requiring this means that TPA is 100% trusted and endorsed by the website. Not a good decision in my opinion. TPA's are just as bad as shady sellers these days. They stopped worrying about the collector long ago. Once they figured out the sellers spend more money and do so in volume.

+1

Goodcat,

It doesn’t put me in a tough position. We just have to decide what is best and do it.

I also need to make sure I make things clear to readers.

The category would be to identify reliable sellers members have experience with. That’s all.

I’m not saying it’s OK to sell some forgeries. It’s not OK to sell any forgeries knowingly or negligently.

perfect

then I agree to make a list of 100% trusted AML sellers

here's my list to begin;

Steve Cyrkin (duh of course)

Roger epperson (again duh of course)

Herman Darvick

Steve Zarelli

Eric Longo

Seamus

john shaw

Richard Booth

mc

Tim Gordon

Joe W

Pete Chuka

wascher

Ballroom

Jackgotlucky

Bruce juice

MarkG

Nate

I would like include myself if you don't mind. The items I've listed for sale were all 100% genuine and will continue to do so.

This is a quick off the top of my head. If I didn't mention someone, it's because I forgot at this moment (apologies)  or I have not actually dealt with them

We need a sticky for trusted sellers

Also... it seems my post about the 3 categories was not interpreted correctly and I apologize. I only meant that some folks selling forgeries need to be screened if it was because they didn't realize it was a forgery and we know this can happen. And that the continued forgery sellers must be banned asap. Hope this helps a little

Goodcat,

Thanks for the list of recommended members, there are a lot of great ones on it. Thanks for recommending me for it, too, but I won't go on the list if we make one.

We want to make sure that every collector knows to do their own research on authenticity before they buy, no matter who they're considering buying from, so we'll name and describe this category of member accordingly.

I'm going to think about how to handle things.

nice and good luck

u know I would love that if u make know sellers on here that are good as I go out of my to talk to any one who  has  questions about any of my stuff  or just if I can help.
