This is on eBay with a current bid of $820. Are these not "Southern California forgeries"?

You could be right but if Probstsein123 doesn't reply to messages its not going to help his case and we won't know the truth.

Now he's another questionable seller among the many.

Probstein also listed an authentic Paul signed Abbey Road (cert #AD05692) at the same time as the photo in the OP. It was authenticated by PSA/DNA on 4/16/18, and also by JSA in 2015. I wonder if they could be from the same collection, even though they were certed a week apart.

I don't.

He clearly doesn't know what he's doing, so he defers to someone who should. Auction houses hire PSA & JSA for that same reason.

Think about it: PSA & JSA are known experts. People messaging him are random people.

If I was him and didn't know the material, I know which party I'd trust (and it isn't the random people messaging me).

I saw Probstein auctioning off an OP shield SW pic with a PSA sticker. That told me all I needed to know about how they run their business.

These high volume EBAY dealers don’t care if they sell forgeries. As long as one of the horrible and unethical TPA’s hacks off on it they will sell it. Too many sticker collectors out there to put an end to it. Probsten123 is no different.

The reason is that, presumably, the person responsible for the sticker does.

I have absolutely no qualms about saying that I'd buy a Neil Armstrong sight unseen on the recommendation of Steve Zarelli or a very small handful of space dealers.

The problem isn't people trusting TPAs to actually do their job, no matter how many people here want to cast such collectors in a negative light. The problem is that most TPAs shouldn't actually be trusted to do their job.

A lot of first time Beatles autograph buyers down this end of the world have been badly burnt by putting their faith in these so called reputable sellers and stickers.
