Is a Mick Jagger signed “Rolling Stone” magazine anything special?

I mean other than the obvious fact that it’s a Jagger autograph.  I was just wondering since after all...Jagger is a Rolling Stone.  Plus, the magazine is bigger than an 8x10, so with the magazine, you’re getting a large portrait of Jagger...at least in the case of the one I have signed from 1985.  On eBay right now there are only two Jagger-signed Rolling Stone magazines that are authenticated and offered for sale.  Both are at crazy asking prices of $2499 OBO and $4999 OBO.

Over priced for sure. Without even seeing them. But, I never complain about prices, I just move on.

Perhaps a better choice would be signed lithograph by Mick. Magazines are printed in there thousands.

Overpriced, not glossy real photos, unknown inks/permanence. Not a good deal.

Good point.

if u want a signed poster heres mine

That’s a very nice piece, John.

Thanks for sale if interested

I’ve just been curious about the pricing on the signed Rolling Stone magazines because it always seems like some seller attaches a premium to them.  I have one signed by Mick from 1985 that I obtained a few years ago.  I was just wondering if I had something that was slightly more desirable among collectors, but it doesn’t sound like it.  I guess those sellers are just hoping they get a bite from the right person.

1100

So generally speaking, are Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger autographs about in the same price range?  Like...say for cuts, photos...or Rolling Stone magazines?

The big difference is if I can complete a stones album ur talking 2500. I think mic might be alitle cheaper but there not cheap. Mic on the low end 400 to 500 .Paul is 800 to 1200. Also depends on what on. That's a ballpark. But non are an easy graph to get

I hear you.  If you look at asking prices on eBay, between the two, it looks roughly the same...depending on the item.  Almost any Jagger autograph on eBay has a $1000 and more price tag attached.  However, asking price and sold price are two very different things.  Either way, they are two of the very biggest icons in music history.  Paul McCartney was a Beatle and did great things on his own, while Jagger is a Rolling Stone who has always had quite a stage presence.  To me, there’s always been kind of an aura about Jagger.
