Was this signed with a felt tip marker?

Not sure.  Maybe a black ink fountain pen?  I dont think anyone would try and pass off a vintage autograph in felt tip pen, but one never knows in this hobby!

Not authentic imo.  To me, this looks like a ball that has been purposely made to look like an old relic, not to mention the autograph looks off as well.

This. A manufactured, anachronistic relic, with a Ruth forgery using non-period ink/implement.

Thanks all.  I will pass!

How was it priced? Some blow out, way below wholesale price? So low that Crazy Eddie would be considered the pinnacle of sanity by comparison? The same kind of "nailed at the door" price that Coach's Corner usually gets for their thousands of "autographed" Ruth baseballs over the years (1/10th to 1/50th the current market value)?
