I purchased this Tom Brady card on ebay from a individual that bought it at a estate sale. He doesn't know the history of the card. I am trying to find out if this autograph is real

Sorry, but I don’t think it’s authentic.  See what others think.

Thanks James for taking the time to look at my card. Would you please expand a little on how you came to your conclusion. Thank you, David

On more current Brady autographs, the “horizontal” part of the T is much more curved.  However, in earlier examples, the top part of the T is pretty flat like yours.  The part that really stands out is the “om” part of “Tom”.  It’s usually not so pronounced with a large hump like this.  However, having said all that, the autograph does have some positive attributes.

You should see what Terrier thinks.  I would defer to his opinion on this one.  Maybe he will chime in.

not authentic

Thanks for lookingTerrier. Would you please give me more information. I'm a fairly new collector and trying to learn my way. THANKS, David

What information are you looking for David?  You asked if the autograph is real and you have a couple of opinions.  In the world of Tom Brady forgeries (and most non-tri-star examples on ebay are fake), this would rate a 2 out of 10.  It is way off.  Here is an authentic example for comparison:

I found one on ebay that was likely signed by the same forger as yours.  here is yours:

here is one list on Ebay currently with a $85.00 buy it now.

A valuable lesson is being given here. The collecting of autographs is not easily learned and it requires a LOT of observation and knowledge to recognize the work of individual hands.

I would also like to start seeing OP's posting images and not attachments.

If you want free advice, the least OP's can do, is post an image.
