I ordered the cd with the vintage B/W signed print, was excited to see it was getting delivered today on a Sunday too!  Guess what!  No signed print, just the cd in the envelope!  Absolutely gutted!  Really not in the mood to have to start sorting this out with the supplier, got better things to do,  but no choice now. If memory serves me correctly, this is the second time this has happened, it happened to me with a signed Imelda May CD a while ago.

sometimes they ship separately......

I see, I certainly hope so. Thanks for the tip.

Nope, just had a reply from sandbag and they are basically just saying the print was limited and if you didn’t receive a signed print that’s tough.  They are just saying if you don’t want it return it, but of course there’s no return label in the package, and I’m sure if I return it they’ll probably only refund the cost of the item rather than the total including postage.  I don’t see why I should be out of pocket one penny because they’ve not sent what I ordered.

It’s definitely total misrepresentation, as the item was still available with the print, it allowed me to purchase, and my confirmation has a picture of the cd with the print etc.  They’ve obviously oversold it.  It’s so annoying though, if I’d just wanted the cd I’d have just bought it locally and cheaper from my local supermarket.  What can you do I suppose, I will probably end up just keeping the cd as I’m only going to end up out of pocket if I send it back, and probably a frustrating long wait for a refund if I return it.  Sandbag wins!

If you have a confirmation email showing the signed print and now you're being told "tough", try the Better Business Bureau.  No organization likes getting black eyes there.  Even UMG, with it's FFF rating, responds to Better Business Bureau complaints pretty quickly, and generally offers more than they will privately because the issues and responses are public.

Sounds like another raw deal. I received nothing from my order at this time but still hope for the best.

Thanks for the tip Wildy. Unfortunately the bbb only deal with problems in North America and I’m in the U.K. but I’ll look to see if there’s a U.K. equivalent.

This appears to be the closest thing in the UK.  Mail and wire fraud are never something a company wants to be accused of publicly.

Thanks again Wildy, I’ll check it out.  I’ll see what they reply to my second email and take it from there.  There is always the chargeback route if all else fails.

Vinyl just arrived.

Black on dark blue. Oh well. Does it look better in person? Nice signature too.

Actually does look much better in person. The shrink wrap makes it more difficult to take a decent pic.
