Baseball Beginner, I see you have posted a few "autographed" baseballs. Where did you acquire them? Coach's Corner?
Hi Christopher, I did not personally purchase them, they belonged to a now deceased family member. They were definitely not an expert in baseball collecting, more of a temporary hobby, and I'm afraid they were likely duped many times.
I knew nothing about baseball collecting prior to acquiring this collection, but have learned a few things thanks to online research so far. I have suspicions that many of the balls are likely forgeries but wanted to be sure. This website and forum seems to me like a reliable source of opinions and wealth of knowledge from what I have gleaned so far.
I appreciate any replies and feedback! Thanks.
It's unfortunate that the ones I've looked at are not authentic. Sorry for the bad news.
No need to be sorry, that's what I'm here to learn!
I hate to see people getting ripped off. There are so many "predators" out there.
