+1, well said Jason. I haven’t bought a thing from Premiere since those scumbags burned me on the Alicia Keys and then repeatedly lied about it (and I won’t be buying anything from them in the future I don’t care who it is). Guess I’m still harboring some resentment too and I’m fine with that!

also +1 from me and that's funny because when I read Jason's comment earlier Scumbag is the same word I thought of to describe this company, and not solely because of how they lied and handled the Alicia Keys books, but also because of how they started the rare book section and are gouging customers who don't know any better much worse than most of the eBay sellers do. it's a complete joke, I just did a quick look and they are selling a signed DR. Ruth book for $175 that you can still buy at Alabama Booksmith for $24.95, and a Winston Groom for $300 that you can also get there for $29.99 and that's just a couple. yeah they get some good stuff but still total scumbags in my opinion

Who cares if they mark items up? You don’t have to buy from them. Also I’ve sold quite a few items for a lot when they were still available other places. I have bought lots of items from them, besides their horrible shipping they have great books from time to time

obviously I care or I wouldn't have mentioned it, there's a difference between marking items up and just flat-out ripping people off like these crooks do. just my opinion and you're entitled to yours so continue to buy from people who put their COAs in Autopen books if you like but I'll pass

Exactly, why would you buy from a company you don't trust? Its not about the pricing, thats more just side humor on top of everything else. Aside from how they refused to budge on Alicia keys, even though they are "collectors themselves",ill never forget the initial stages of the Bob Dylan release. They absolutely refused to cancel my order even though it was not expected to ship for a while. Who does that? Again responding with more lies. I do not want to feel that way with a company ever again, holding my $700 hostage. Hetfield, while still expensive, is another gamble worth taking though. Most are not...

What’s everyone thinking here? Premiere continues to give standard “waiting on the authors representatives” answers anytime I email them for an update. They’ve admitted to not having these in hand as of Friday, and as everyone saw moved from hard signed copies to a bookplate. They’ve had our money on this one since June. Do y’all think we’ll get the books, or is Premiere just stalling on the eventuality of refunds?

I don't know how these things are exactly ever structured but contracts are involved. Premiere is a business and as much as I dislike their practices, I really doubt they are the cause of this delay. All we can do is wait. If premiere has no news, there's nothing really more to say on their end unless they are hiding something.

They have pics up too. I kind of with they didn't have their company name on the bookplate. Sig looks good though. Same as my slipcase copies.
