Hi - I think this might probably the best fake I have ever seen. Allegially signed 1967.  It looks nearly perfect but the price went extremly cheap as buy it now what appears to be very strange as the value normally is at least double. This is a red flag and suggest someone might have wanted it fast off the market. The John looks very unusual - and everything is written in the same size what also appears strange... The other 3 look near perfect IMO.

If you check his past and current auctions you'll find a likely fake Harrison 45, a likely fake Wings Greatest and a very good Paul Pepper (that looks perfect but might be fake in the context of the other items).

What do you think?

No Thanks...

Other items looking like pen plotting, possibly plotted in reverse. Based on the signature placements of the one in OP to have low contrast, I am guessing that was also plotted.

I think they are good forgeries but  what does pen plotting, possibly plotted in reverse mean please?

These autopen devices do not necessarily always have a dot near start and end of strokes but usually will at the tail end of a stroke. They can plot the vector in reverse so that the tail end might display a more natural taper in effort to throw people off their scent.

ta.  i couldnt out what it meant

For me first place I would check would be end of the signature. The OP looks to be ballpoint to me, but some of their other inventory was felt tip and very flat looking. The Stones one looked gel pen to me which hides the dotting less than ballpoint, but does vary in width around curves more than ballpoint to give the illusion of varied pressure.

the first thing I noticed is that is not John's style in '67.  I agree these are very good forgeries but I see some things that are concerning

And the placement looks a bit weird. There appear two parallels.

THe overall look - the position, size, price and the seller makes me very suspicous. I think if i see them on a piece of paper - separatley I would have taken it...

Just goes to show that autograph authentication is as much an art as a science - or perhaps even more so.
