That’s a tough one. If I was looking for an additional professional opinion, I would choose either Frank Caiazzo or Tracks UK. However, I don’t believe they authenticate for the general public. I know that Caiazzo doesn’t.

You can just ask Tracks UK for an offer. If they don't want it you can more or less assume they wouldn't certify it.

I recommend not buying an autograph that a regular music autograph seller sold for 40% less than it should be worth. Even their estimate was far less than it should be worth.

well I disagree with your 40% valuation as I have over 10 Lennon checks that sold in the 4 - 6 grand range and 40 % off of 4k is 2400 and this item sold for almost 2800 including buyer's premium .. it is being looked at by BECKETT  and I will let you know the outcome .. THANKS to everyone that chimed in as it is very much appreciated

If it's real, that well preserved, and uninscribed, it would be worth roughly $5,000+.

I guess we will know whether I got a good deal or scammed when I see what Beckett states .. if Beckett and REAL state it is good should I assume it is legit or return it to the auction house

My concern is that the autograph looks utterly unaged, like it was signed yesterday. It could be something like a laser ink transfer copy of a genuine autograph, which can only be detected in person, or in some cases with very high-resolution photos at multiple angles.

But you can't return it in any case. You bought it with a COA from one of their approved authenticators, and their word is final according to the auction's Terms and Conditions.

I am unclear as to whether you have actually paid for it or not.  If you havent, I wouldnt pay for it yet.

Steve .. I am having  them meaning the auction house get it verified by Beckett and if Beckett fails it I don't need to take from them .. I appreciate your help but you run a web forum have a history and a reputation and I even asked you a question direct that you ignored so I have taken everyone's advice here and tracks is looking at making me an offer on the piece but even on this thread there are just as many of those who say it is good as those that are saying be careful .. I will let you know the outcome  and Steve .. I will let you know the outcome as soon as I here and I thank you for providing a forum to ask

   Thanks everyone

you can buy Lennon signed pieces for 2500 to 4k if they arw cut or not on a photo ...    Steve .. how many Beatles / John Lenons do you currently own?

looks as if someone has taken 2 john lennon autographs and merged them into one, that would explain the slowly drawn portion at the end of the h
