I just heard from eBay's fraud department that "court-approved forensic document examiners" Christopher Morales and Nicholas Burzyk have been banned by eBay!
Nothing offered with their authentication opinions is allowed, and will be removed—either automatically or upon notification.
Their names will be published on eBay's list of banned authenticators within the next two weeks—their Web department has a backlog of work, so it takes some time.
If you aren't familiar with Morales, read my article, Christopher Morales: The Forger's Best Friend
Thank you eBay!!!

We have never observed an authentic autograph with COA from Chris "I Never Saw An Autograph I Didn't Like" Morales and Nicholas Burczyk.
As we all are aware of, "Nicholas Burczyk" NEVER authenticated any sports autographs. His name has been dragged through the mud by Mr. Florida and that's how his name has been attached to thousands of "Florida" forgeries.
There are zero authentic autographs with a worthless COA from Nicholas Burczyk.
Florida forgery with a worthless COA from Christopher Morales.
Immediately below is a link to my blog titled The Florida Forgeries.
https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/the-florida-forgeri...
Look at this crap.
The majority of the "autographed" photos in this blog are Florida forgeries; they aren't even hand-penned by a forger. They are basically copies produced on inkjet paper.
And as we all know Nicholas Burczyk never authenticated any sports autographs. His name was used and dragged through the mud by Mr. Florida.
Crap with a worthless COA from Christopher Morales.
Crap with a COA from Stat Authentic.
Check out these Florida Forgeries with worthless COA's from Stat Authentic (Ted Taylor) and Nicholas Burczyk.
Look at these forgeries of Mantle, DiMaggio and Williams with a worthless COA from Forensic Document Services (James Bellino) who has been on Ebay's Banned COA list for over two decades. Look at this laughable garbage.
Crap with a worthless COA from Nicholas Burczyk.
Look at this "Florida" mass-produced crap with a worthless COA from Nicholas Burczyk, who, by the way, as we well know, never authenticated any sports autographs. Mr. Florida has been dragging his name thru the mud for 20 years.
Look at this garbage with a worthless COA from Chris "I Never Saw An Autograph I Didn't Like" Morales.
Look at this crap (mass-produced "Florida" forgery) with a worthless COA from Nicholas Burczyk. Nicholas Burczyk never authenticated any sports autographs as we all know. Mr. Florida dragged his name through the mud by using his name to "authenticate" thousands of forgeries.
Look at this crap with a worthless COA from Chris Morales. Notice the "pig on a lipstick" framing. This most likely originated from the now-bankrupt AtAuction.com where they sold thousands upon thousands of forgeries to consumers and military personnel.
Forensic BS COA.
Look at this crap. Mass-produced forged Mickey Mantle with a COA from Burczyk.
The thing about Burczyk, is that Nicholas Burczyk never authenticated one sports autograph.
His name has been dragged through the mud by Mr. Florida.
Look at this crap with a worthless COA from Christopher Morales.
Morales, who is deservedly on Ebay's Banned COA List, has literally authenticated thousands upon thousands of forgeries.
Look at this crap with a worthless COA from Coach's Corner (Lee Trythall and Scott Malack).
Check out this laughable and forged Mickey Mantle baseball with a worthless COA from Christopher "I Never Saw An Autograph I Didn't Like" Morales.
Look at this crap.
Laughable Mantle forgery with worthless COA from Nicholas Burczyk.
Of course, there is no proof that Nicholas Burczyk ever "authenticated" any sports autographs.
Some dirtbag simply dragged his name through the mud by using his name with fraudulent COAs.

Typical "Florida" forgery that was mass-produced in the thousands.

I just noticed that it sold on eBay for $5,000, and the seller received positive feedback. Ouch.
Here are the autographs...with AAU/Drew Max authentication (the guy on Pawn Stars with the big magnifying glass).
For anyone who wonders how people can be so careless to end up buying something like this, I think the write-up says it all:
**BEATLES ORIGINAL BUTCHER COVER ALBUM OF YESTERDAY AND TOMORROW**
This is a rare find on Ebay. This hard to find album cover is the "butcher cover" of yesterday and tomorrow. This was bought in Las Vegas at the Caesars Palace emporium. This is a very rare find and a customer of ours bought this piece after a great night in the casino. [Emphasis added] The original purchase price of this item was $16,000.00 dollars. We are selling this piece at a very reduced rate for such a rare find. Other items listed online that are equal to this are going for around the $17,000 dollar mark. This has 2 C.O.A.s that come with this piece verifying the Beatles signatures are real as well the authenticity of the album. The collection has a letter from the head of Capitol Records requesting the albums be recalled back to the distributor. The eventual recall lead to another album being substituted in its place do to the vulgar nature of the picture. The letter recalling the album is a copy and is not original. This piece is beautifully framed and still has the plastic around the frame to protect it until it finds it's final hanging place in your home. We will review all offers on this piece and are willing to work with you. Please have great feedback before bidding on this rare piece. The pictures tell the whole story of this piece. Good luck bidding...
The description is obviously enticing, but everything was there for the buyer to research before paying that kind of money. It's a real shame. Even the butcher cover appears to be a repro.
How can you tell the cover's a reproduction?
What got me was that it said the customer bought it for $16,000 after a night in the casino. That's their kind of victim.
The image on the cover appears slightly cropped.
Yeah, that got me too. It's really amazing the way the whole thing is set up.
I hear that Drew Max, who never seemed to see an Antiquities autograph he didn't like, failed all but one of something like 40 they sent to him for a customer in December. And Antiquities refused to refund the customer's money.
define licensed & certified handwriting expert. Those are the weasel words where one would have to find a "real" FDE I suspect that also deals with the subject matter I muse.
amazing how buyers foolishly think that TPAs & independents would qualify. Best to get the opinion in advance especially when the amount breaks the $1,000.00 threshold.
I found some interesting information at the website www.haulsofshame.com about some well known authenticators. Can anyone shed any light on this website. It seems that there are all sorts of authenticators constantly being questioned, and someone is always being "thrown under the bus", so to speak.
welcome to AML kirk. Authentication Malpractice are great words and applicable especially to the subjects of the original thread post.
here are a couple of focus threads on AML;

and Kirk - with regards to the claims of 8 non-authentic walter johnson balls where some sold at major auction houses it states, " We showed these eight JSA-certified Walter Johnson signed baseballs to several experts who each told us that in their opinion, they would not be able to certify them as authentic. One expert thought that the ball shown in the second row, left, might be genuine. As for the images of the second set of Johnson balls, the experts thought they were genuine, but there was some disagreement about the example shown on the top row, right, which would need to be examined in person to render a definitive opinion."
SO WHO ARE THE SEVERAL EXPERTS? Huey, Dewey & Louie? To have a credible argument one must clearly identify who Huey, Dewey, & Louie etc.. are. One can't mask them and feel that the article has anything to it moreso that the SINGLE ONE that started the discussion that appears to be pulled from Ebay and that is sufficient enough without all the noise.
