Here`a Forensic Examiner certificate i received with a signed item, the signed item was eventually deemed fake by a well knowed authenticator.

It seems curious that there's no mention of the "certifying" organization.

That's similar to an attorney not revealing where he went to law school but telling you all the associations he's joined.

Just out of curiosity, where was this item selling and for how much?

On e-bay, starting price $700.00.

I assume the file number on the cert "ARA A 140" means it was an American Royal Arts item.

Nuff said.

Hi Jake,

The certificate you posted does nothing for me.  Who's to say that it E.C. Bryan actually signed it?  If a competent DE verified the piece I would expect to see the exemplars they used for comparison.  The standard that I use is 25 known exemplars.  To properly evaluate an album signed by all 4 original members of Led Zeppelin it would take many hours of work.  On a $700.00 piece this simply doesn't make sense.

W.W.

E.C. BRIAN CFDE, is about the same as Christopher MORALASS, all time loser in my eyes when it comes to autographs. The certificate looks the same and holds the same weight, ZERO. I would NOT BUY 1 lousy $10.00 autograph with these credentials.

Buy the autograph and do the authenticating yourself. it's so much easier. Use the COA as a guideline.  If it has a COA from a FDE a CFDE or BSDE for that matter...please don't buy it, unless you want to be called an idiot from FUDD. LOL. These idiots have helped to infiltrate millions of forgeries on unsuspecting morons. Just do your homework, learn the signature and buy one with a recognizable certification only after YOU have verified the autograph PERIOD....or buy from a trusted dealer. NEVER BUY a THING that comes with FDE COA. An authentic item is worth more in many peoples opinion when nothing is attached. Unfortunately you have so many ANAL EDDIES out there that they won't buy anything with out a cert, because the jack-offs buy the cert and not the autograph. These people are complete bafoons. The autograph collecting hobby is overflowing with nimrodded knuckIeheads, thieves, scammers and complete LOSERS.....and it all starts at the FDE rubber stamping level, which this EC Brian is a part of.

LOL....thanks guys!   I much appreciate your valued opinions!

If I'm not mistaken, Ms. Bryan was also authenticating material for a south Florida dealer who sued Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo. The dealer ultimately settled the case. IMO her qualifications were as reputable as those of her fellow forensic examiner for the same dealer, Mr. Morales (whom I publicly called out three times).

Suggest you "google" some of her credentials.

Bill, wasn't that you who called out Chris "I Never Saw An Autograph I Didn't Like" Morales years ago and invited him (you were going to pay for his expenses) to a challenge?   I remember reading that in what is now "the longest running thread" on Net54.
